Colombia history

 

Colombia history starts way back like when pirates were thing there French Dutch and English. These pirates wanted gold and silver that’s what they asked for. The Colombian people obeyed because they were scared that the pirates would destroy there city’s .once the Spaniards settled in they built a strong military to hold of the pirates. Colombia was originally called republic of Columbia and also new Granada . There were a lot of native tribes leavening in that region. These tribes didn’t know how to read but they knew how to construct roads, bridges ,and buildings. 100 years after the Spaniards settled in Colombia 95 percent of the native population died. The Spanish came with rats and diseases. Colombia gained its independence July 20 1810 that’s when the flag was made.Simon bolivar the man in the picture was president of Colombia and also gained independence by fighting for it. It took him a long time but he never gave up.

Cuba

 On the Caribbean island, I recommend you to go to Cuba. The primary language that is spoken in Cuba is Spanish. The beaches are excellent places to visit like Vadaero beach. The beaches have nice clear water with white sand. The cars in Cuba are really vintage that's something new and nice to look at. Some of their buildings are painted with bright colors. The food is wonderful my friend is Cuban and she makes the best foods. In Cuba, you can go scuba diving and see some amazing waterfalls like leaping Caburni. Another thing you can do is go zip lining if you are not scared of heights. One of the places is called Las Terrazas this is where you can go zip lining. The currency used in Cuba is Cuban pesos. A fun fact is that part of fast and furious was filmed in Cuba to be specific at the capital which is Havana.
